Traditional Masala Chai

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons loose black tea or 2 tea bags
  • 1 teaspoon Lecha Chai Masala
  • 2-3 teaspoons sugar or honey (adjust to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Add tea and Chai Masala, reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes.
  3. Add milk and sugar, bring to a simmer again.
  4. Remove from heat, strain, and serve hot.

Chai Spiced Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons Lecha Chai Masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream butter and sugar, then add egg and vanilla.
  3. Mix in flour, Chai Masala, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Roll into balls, place on baking sheet, and flatten slightly.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
